We Could Care Less – Arteta On Man City Getting Point Deduction
-
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta while invading the Manchester City question, says he would rather want to win the league on his own merits.
-
The former Assistant to Pep Guardiola wouldn’t want points deducted off Manchester City to aid Arsenal in lifting the Premier League.
-
This is in response to the charges facing the current league champions by the Premier League governing body.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has stated that his team should earn the right to win the Premier League title and not depend on any possible sanctions against Manchester City.
The governing body has charged City with over 100 breaches of financial rules, leading to possible sanctions including fines, points deductions, or even relegation.
Manchester City currently trails Arsenal by five points in the league, with one game in hand.

However, Arteta has urged his team to focus on what they can control and earn the right to win the title.
In a press conference on Friday, Arteta stated:
“We have to earn the right to win it, that’s for sure. Let’s focus on what we have to do and win enough football matches for that to happen.”
The manager’s comments emphasize the importance of earning the title through hard work and determination, rather than relying on outside factors.
