Candidates for the 2023 governorship election in Lagos State under Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) and Action People’s Party (APP) have debunked news of withdrawing from the race.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that two governorship candidates in Lagos State, Adenipebi Adekunle of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) and Mrs Adeyemi Abiola of the Action Peoples Party (APP), have debunked rumour of stepping down from the race.

The two candidates disclosed they did not withdraw from the 2023 governorship race for any candidate.
An earlier report claimed that Adenipebi and Abiola stepped down for Olajide Adediran aka Jandor, of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
The two candidates denied the report of stepping down for Jandor, stating that no such action was taken.
Recall that Mr Adenipebi emerged as ZLP governorship candidate in Lagos state national n an unopposed primary election. He was the Lagos State chairman of ZLP.
