We Have Made Education Premium in Lagos State, Discloses Gov Sanwo-Olu

– The Lagos State governor has disclosed that they have made education the cardinal pillar of the present administration.

– The governor made this known during the hosting of Eko Educators Performance Series 3.3 on Tuesday

– The governor maintained that the school curriculum have been effectively upgraded through EkoBest Initiative.

The Lagos state governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has stated that the present administration in the state has placed a huge premium on education and innovation making the sector one of the pillars of his development agenda.

The governor disclosed on Tuesday 8 September, 2020 on his verified Twitter handle after delivering a keynote speech during the launching of Eko Educators Webinar Performance Series 3.3 by the state government through its teaching Service Commission.

While eulogizing his landmark achievements in the education sector, the governor maintained that his administration has upgraded the schools’ curriculum, enhanced the capacity of teachers training through EkoBest initiative and equally set up an innovation fund for the youths.

He further stressed that the present administration under his watch would continue to prioritize investment in education in order to make the schools in the state a conducive home for academic activities to thrive.
