“We are prepared to wear our garment of humanity particularly during these trying times to work round the clock and complement the efforts of the State Government in its efforts to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the state,” he said.

Acknowledging the level of preparedness of the state government to combating environmental uncleanness, he cited the daily briefings by the State Governor and the distribution of the protective gear to all PSPs in Lagos State as testimonials.

Adebola said aside from the governor’s commitment to curbing the menace of the virus in the state, that it is also clearly in the frontline of the fight to beat COVID-19, adding that the involvement and the cooperation of all PSP’s across the State, he added were crucial to the realization of that goal.

According to him, the next two weeks would be quite pivotal in the administration’s fight against the virus, despite also likely that PSPs would make a painful sacrifice as most banks would not be working which could affect their cash flow arrangements.
