The Lagos State Government says it will continue to invest in human resources and capital infrastructure to ensure the security and safety of lives and property of Lagosians.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who stated this at the Commissioning of the Emergency And Security Regional Dispatch Centre in Epe, said the edifice is well equipped and furnished with equipment for first responders in the event of emergencies.
As gathered by Eko Hot Blog, the Governor appealed to people in the axis to support the administration by providing accurate information, adding that the edifice would enhance efficient and rapid deployment of first responders to emergency scenes in demonstration of his government’s commitment to growth and development of the State.
Speaking, Commissioner Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations, Tayo Bamgbose-Martins, said the project was a key part of the Governor’s THEMES agenda, adding that the edifice had been constructed to enhance safety of lives and properties as well as increase timely response to emergencies with necessary facilities provided to the Ministries, Departments and Agencies accommodated.

Stakeholders at the event which included the Lawmakers in the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Epe Constituency Two Ogunkelu Sylvester, and Ibeju-Lekki Constituency Two, Kazeem Adewale, commended the Governor and implored his administration not to relent in bringing the dividends of democracy to Epe and its environs.
