Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, Nicholas Tofowomo, has promised to rebuild roads and bridges affected by erosion in the district.
While speaking in Ayeka Town in Okitipupa during a visit to some erosion ravaged communities, Tofowomo pledged to rebuild the roads and bridges.
Reports had it that the senator began his tour on Thursday, in Odigbo, Irele, and Okitipupa Local government areas and would be visiting three other local government areas next week.

He said, ”In Ore town in Odigbo LGA, I promise to construct a bridge on Ajegunle Street that will be connected to Rainbow Street.
Also, all the damaged bridges will be fixed.
”In Ayeka Town in Okitipupa LGA, I promised to tackle the gully, which has already destroyed the major road linking the community to Okitipupa.
“I have gone round communities in my district and seen the damage done by erosion in the past five years. We will fix it.
“I have spent a year in office. I am getting settled gradually. If not for the accident I had on Sept. 6, 2019, I would have gone far in this project, but the accident pulled me back for about eight months.
“I am actively starting now, and it is my responsibility to ensure that before the end of the year, the ecological projects will begin in all these communities to fix the bridges and link roads.”
