We'll Begin Enforcement To Decongest Lagos Areas- LASG

– LASG said that after expiration of ultimatum given to traders, transporters obstructing areas, enforcement would begin immediately to decongest the areas in an attempt to ease traffic
– The areas that will be affected by the ultimatum for now are, Iyana Ipaja bus stop, Ikotun bus stop, Oyingbo, Yaba, Ketu, Ikorodu roundabout and Lekki/Ajah area
– The notice becomes effective from Friday,4th October and will expire on Friday,11th October 2019.
 
The Lagos state Government has said that at the expiration of the seven days ultimatum given to traders, transporters and others obstructing traffic in some areas, enforcement would begin immediately to decongest the areas in an attempt to ease traffic.
The Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde who was represented by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry,Olawale Musa made this statement at a Stakeholder’s meeting on traffic management intervention of Government in Ikeja on Thursday.

He added that the notice becomes effective from Friday,4th October and will expire on Friday,11th October 2019.
