We’ll Rid Nasarawa State Of Criminals -Police Vow
The Nasarawa State Police Command has vowed to flush out kidnappers and other criminals operating in Deddere community, Obi Local Government Area and other parts of the state.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Umar Nadada, made the promise during a courtesy visit by the Deddere Youth Organisation on Monday in Lafia.

He explained that the police and other security agencies were working assiduously towards addressing the challenges and ensuring that the entire state was secure.
According to him, the state government had promised to further assist the police and sister security agencies with more logistics to enable them tackle the menace.
Nadada noted that security required collective responsibility of citizens and all stakeholders to partner with police in that regard.
“Members of the public must support us with valuable information about criminals and their hideouts within the communities to enable us to tackle them, thereby making the communities safe.
“We are always ready to respond whenever the public gives us information about criminals, because that is our mandate.
“When you see something, say something, to enable us to do something in order to secure the state,” he said.

On the security concerns raised by the organisation, the CP assured them that immediate actions would be taken to increase the presence of their personnel in the area.
He also promised to investigate the alleged claim that some suspects, arrested by the vigilante, were released a few days after without prosecution.
