‘What a shame’ – Tinubu decries looting of NCC office in Kano

President Bola Tinubu has described the recent attack on the NCC office in Kano State as shameful.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that on August 1, End Bad Governance protesters targeted the NCC office. The newly built facility, which was soon to be commissioned, was looted and set on fire.

In a nationwide broadcast on Sunday, Tinubu expressed his condemnation of the act, calling it shameful and urging that it be denounced by all.

He stated, “Additionally, we have secured $620 million under the Digital and Creative Enterprises (IDiCE) program—an initiative designed to empower our youth by creating millions of IT and technical jobs, making them globally competitive.

“These programs include the 3 Million Technical Talents scheme. Unfortunately, one of the digital centers was vandalized during the protests in Kano. What a shame!”
