When one of the greatest players to have ever played football signed and joined Juventus in 2018, it came as a surprise to many football fans all over the world.
One of the major reasons for Juventus signing Cristiano Ronaldo is to win the most prestigious trophy in Europe after going two decades without winning the UEFA Champions League.

Juventus Striker Cristiano Ronaldo in his third season in Italy is yet to lead the ‘Old Lady’ to European success.

The Portuguese has won the trophy at Manchester United in England, before winning it four more times at Real Madrid, under Carlo Ancelotti and Zinedine Zidane.

Juventus have crashed out of this year’s tournament, as they failed to get past FC Porto in the round of 16 knockout stage of the competition. FC Porto have advanced to the quarter final stage of the Champions league despite losing 3-2 to Juventus.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, Juventus Sporting director, Fabio Paratici spoke to Sky Sports about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future after the club suffered another elimination.

“Juventus director Fabio Paratici to Sky Sport about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future: “There’s still another year of contract [expiring in June 2022]. Cristiano’s contract renewal is not an immediate issue on the agenda, there’s time to talk about it”.

He made it known that Ronaldo’s future is not an immediate issue on agenda, and that there’s still time to talk about a contract renewal deal.
