There are many insinuations going on that the Lagos State Government may call for another locked down if attention for the social distancing rule is not taken accordingly.

The general rules to contain this deadly pandemic in the whole world is to take the social distancing rule and stay-at-home order if you don’t have any necessary activity doing outside your comfort home.
However, Nigerian citizens are breaking this rule with the intention that coronavirus is not real and the messages they do get from the clergymen from both well-known religions (Islam and Christianity) are not helping the situation at all.
Moreover, the citizens are having the belief that COVID-19 is not real as they felt that most of the people that died, as a result of contracting the disease, were not shown on national televisions for other citizens to see. So, they believe that is just a fraudulent act by the federal and state governments for embezzlement from the national treasury.
My question is this if the government of Nigeria is fabricating what is not! Is the same thing applies to other nations that have shut down most of their economic actions because of this disease? If Nigerians don’t have belief in their governments as the governments do play politics with whatever emerges as national issues, they should have belief in COVID-19 because that was what killed the former Chief of Staff to President Muhammad Buhari, Abba Kyari. Nigerians, if COVID-19 is not real Lagos State Government wouldn’t have allowed the Lekki toll-gate to be toll-free for a while as the tolls attendants run for dear life.
Like Yoruba proverb that says our destination is not far but other areas of concentrations are too many. Where I am going this morning is about the locked-down relaxation from the Lagos State Government. The government of the state has made it mandatory for any citizens going out to wear masks or nose covers as the case may be and to be sanitized before boarding commercial vehicles and the rule of social distancing should be maintained.
The state government also ordered that the activities in the market places should be in the rotational process to avoid people choking up.
Today, what we are seeing and hearing from our relatives living in the metropolitan areas of the country, especially in Lagos State, is not palatable to the hearing at all.
I just received a photo captured by a friend, Olufemi Ajadi, at the trade fair, Alaba, where traders and customers were choked up, despite their wearing masks. Do you think wearing masks without social distancing will contain the disease!
The government is trying its best to reduce the rate of affected citizens but citizens are joking with their lives ignorantly.
Another Yoruba adage says: a troublesome child will be advised not to kill his mother, but he would be later advised not to kill himself if he still persisted in his foolishness.
