Senator Shehu Sani has provided advice to Nigerian security agencies investigating corrupt public officials who own properties in Dubai valued at billions of dollars on how to treat such cases.
Senator Shehu Sani claimed that the old practice of informing Nigerians that current and former public officials own assets worth more than $6 billion in foreign countries has become outdated and inadequate.
Senator Shehu Sani confirmed this in a recent post on his official Twitter account.
Senator Shehu Sani believes that the best way to deal with corrupt public officials is to identify the properties they own in Dubai, make public the names of those who own those properties, and also make public the addresses of those properties so that the general public is informed.

Senator Shehu Sani is attempting to argue that the conventional practice of alleging that former and current public officials are corrupt and own assets worth billions of dollars is no longer adequate.
Senator Shehu Sani believes it is counterproductive to inform the public about invincible crooked public officials without identifying the corrupt individuals.
Senator Shehu Sani also said that it is equally necessary to inform the public of the locations of all properties that these corrupt public officials purchased illegally with public funds.
Senator Shehu Sani believes that Nigeria’s security forces must be able to adequately educate the public about any crooked public officials who own properties in Dubai. They will do so by releasing all relevant information about the accused public officials, as well as the addresses of the stolen assets.
This would provide the public with vital knowledge on those who have been stealing from them.
