The human mind is wired to seek out patterns. When we see a situation that resembles something we’ve seen before, we draw judgments based on our previous experiences. After all, this is how we better our lives and learn. But When it comes to relationships you must avoid this. Never compare your partner with your ex-lover.

4. Holding back

When it comes to expressing love, the sky is the limit. Give liberally to your partner and don’t expect anything in return, don’t be afraid of falling in love too deeply.

It’s perfectly understandable if you want to be cautious at the beginning of a relationship. However, if you’re both in it for the long haul, give everything you’ve got. Never hold back on the one you love.
