Whitemoney, however, denied any ill intent. He explained that the video was part of a harmless challenge and that he had no idea who he was up against until the session began. By the time he realized who Hellen was, it was too late to back out without drawing more attention.

In a video statement, Whitemoney said he was simply playing along and meant no disrespect to Cubana Chief Priest, whom he described as a strong supporter and big brother figure. He revealed that during his Big Brother Naija campaign, Cubana stood by him and contributed to his success.
“I would never intentionally disrespect someone like Cubana Chief Priest,” Whitemoney said. “I owe a lot of my success to him. He’s my big bro and I appreciate everything he’s done for me.”
He further clarified that after realizing the misunderstanding, he quickly switched the vibe by playing a funny song to cool things down. He said it was never about taking sides or making fun of anyone.
The apology has drawn mixed reactions online, but many fans have praised Whitemoney for clearing the air and showing humility.
In the world of social media, things can easily be taken out of context. But Whitemoney’s public apology appears to have been well-received, showing that sometimes, a little maturity goes a long way.
