Why DSS Officers Left Adeleke’s Security Detail – Osun Govt
The Osun government has explained why DSS officers left Adeleke’s security detail.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Osun State government says a “minor disagreement” was responsible for the withdrawal of officers of the Department of State Services (DSS) from Governor Ademola Adeleke’s security detail.

A group, Osun Shall Rise Again (OSRA), had claimed that the DSS officers were withdrawn following repeated insults hurled at them by the governor.
However, a statement issued by Adeleke’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, on Sunday said the withdrawal had nothing to do with Adeleke.
According to Rasheed, there was a “minor disagreement” between the DSS officers and the police team on the governor’s security detail.
Adeleke’s spokesperson noted that the issue has been reported to the headquarters of the two security agencies.
“The attention of the Osun State Government has been drawn to a report on the alleged withdrawal of security personnel from Governor Ademola Adeleke,” the statement reads.
“We want to clarify that it is a minor disagreement between officers of the Department of State Service and the Police.
“The matter has been reported to the headquarters of the two security agencies for resolution. The issue is being sorted out.
