Drinking water is generally beneficial to the body; in fact, some people believe that there is no way you can harm yourself by drinking water. Is this, actually, correct? the answer is No! as long as there is an advantage, there is a side effect or a negative aspect to it.
Drinking water at night right before going to bed is not healthy. If you must drink water, make sure you do so some hours before sleep time.
So, in this article on EKO HOT BLOG, we would be looking at the main reason, why drinking water right before mounting the bed, is unhealthy.
According to studies, drinking water before bedtime can disrupt your sleep cycle. This occurs because, when a person is sleeping, the kidneys naturally shut down functionality for a few hours to allow the person to sleep soundly without having to get up every minute or so to urinate. Under normal circumstances, it is this pause within activities that allows us to sleep safely and soundly.
However, drinking water before bedtime can cause your kidneys to stay up and running while you sleep, causing you to wake up numerous times in one night to urinate. This frequent urination may disrupt your sleep pattern, causing you to wake up multiple times during the night to urinate.

This can disrupt your sleep and create heart problems, especially if it occurs frequently. So drink plenty of water several hours before bedtime, rather than straight before bedtime.
