  • Governor Masari has revealed why the Katsina commissioner was brutally murdered.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari has revealed how the late Commissioner of Science and Technology in Katsina State, Dr. Rabe Nasir, met his end.

He made this known in a statement by the Director General on Media, Mr. Abdul Labaran Malumfashi on Friday.

In the statement, Masari disclosed that the deceased, “Dr. Nadir’s lifeless body was found in the toilet of his home, located at the Fatima Shema Housing Estate yesterday. He was hacked to death by suspected assassins.”

Masari, while expressing deep sorrow at the brutal murder of the former Commissioner of Science and Technology, said that, “it was unfortunate that a life so promising is cut short by the dagger of assassins, vowing that the government would do everything possible to capture and punish accordingly, those responsible for the act.”

Masari described the deceased as a “diligent, dedicated, hard working and loyal person who never failed in any assignment given to him.”

He said It was a tragedy that such a young life would be cut abruptly,

While consoling the immediate family of the deceased, including his wife, children, aged mother and several siblings, the Katsina State Governor said the Commissioner’s death was a great loss to Katsina State.

He urged them to take solace in the fact that, in addition to the inevitability of death on every living soul, Dr. Nasir has lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation despite his relatively young age.

Late Dr. Nasir Rabe’s remain was committed to mother earth today in Katsina, in accordance with Islamic rights.
