The league has shown tremendous amount of excitement this previous season and much more is expected with big names joining the league to add to the rivalry and fight for the league titles and cups within the country.
This coming season brings massive excitement as we get to see former teammates face each other like Hakeem Ziyech (Al Nassr) vs Ngolo Kante (Al Ittihad) and the biggest of them all Kareem Benzema vs Cristiano Ronaldo, both Ballon D’or winners as well as former team mates at Real Madrid.

However, their spending spree has raised some concern amongst European teams as they assess the damage and impact it will have on players transfer fee. They also worry if the spending spree will make players to play for the love of money, not for the passion of football.
With the Saudi Pro League seemingly developing their football, it is worthy to make the bold statement of saying it definitely will be amongst the most watched leagues outside Europe or will even draw comparisons with the big leagues in Europe due to the clubs’ massive spending spree.
