Wike, Fayose Storm Lagos, Join Sanwo-Olu For Women Conference

Wike and Fayose have landed in Lagos to Join Sanwo-Olu for a women’s conference.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, and the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose on Tuesday joined Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the 2022 Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO2022) conference.

This online media platform gathered that the conference is being held at Eko Hotels, Lagos State.

The First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari, and other eminent political office holders are expected to register their presence at the conference organized by COWLSO.

The wife of President Muhammadu Buhari will serve as the Mother of the day and would declare the Conference Open.

The Rivers State Governor, Wike is the Special Guest of Honour at the ceremony.

Lagos State First Lady and Chairman of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), Ibjioke Sanwo-Olu disclosed this on Thursday at a news conference in Ikeja.

Meanwhile, a group identified as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) patriots has warned the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar to avoid former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose.

According to the group, the leadership of PDP must deal tactfully with Fayose because of his alleged antics and non-interest in the victory of the party in 2023.

The group in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Richard Akinpelu, alleged that Fayose was not favourably disposed to Atiku’s victory, adding that the PDP should be wary of his inclusiveness in the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) in Ekiti State.
