Oshoala Reveals Biggest Dream
With three Women’s Cup of Nation titles under her belt already, many would expect Super Falcons star striker, Asisat Oshoala, to be satisfied with how her career has unravelled.
However, the forward newly signed on a two-year deal by Barcelona’s female side doesn’t harbour such thoughts having set eyes on the Women’s World Cup kicking off in France soon.
Speaking with Goal, the maiden BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year, who scored 8 goals in 11 appearances during a short-term loan deal for Barcelona, said: “Working out with the team, training really good.
“I’m trying my best to keep the environment positive for myself and make myself happy and enjoy football.
“I’m not under any pressure. I’m not a player looking for a club or whatever. I’m just here to have fun and give my best as always.
“My biggest dream in France is to help the team win the trophy.”
Deservedly considered the most successful female footballer in Africa, all eyes will be on Oshoala as far as Super Falcons are concerned when the tournament kicks off on Friday.
