Wizkid Drops Cryptic Message: ‘New Music In Five Years’

Known as a king of cryptic message of sorts, Nigeria music superstar, Wizkid, delivered a suggestion fans might have to wait a while before getting anything new from him regarding music.

From what the 29-year-old wrote in a post on Wednesday via Instastories without further details, he might be dropping his next song in five years’ time

 “New music in 5years,” he wrote simply, in what could be a blow to his teeming fans waiting for new materials from him especially with his duet alongside American singer, Beyoncé, Blue Ivy Carter, and Saint Jhn, “Brown Skin Girl” adjudged arguably the best song on the Beyonce-curated “Lion King” album.

The song made its debut at number 76 on the US Billboard Hot 100 over a week ago and Wizkid had dropped teasers for a new single titled “Joro” in recent times on social media.
