Wizkid Mentions One Nigerian Musician He Prefers Listening To

• Wizkid granted an interview with Beat FM, where he revealed one of his favorite musician presently

The Starboy Crooner has been trending for the past 48 hours after the release of his long awaited album “Made In Lagos.”

The album was received with mixed feelings as some enjoyed it while others felt he could have done better.

Wizkid is in the news for a different reason other than his album and it is because he revealed the nigerian artist whose songs he loves listening to.

The Hit Maker granted an interview with beat fm where he spoke about the energy and process that went into making his album.

Hw was asked about the kind of musician he listens to and the type of music he prefers.

In his own words, the singer said “On my playlist, I listen to everybody. There are so many Naira Marley song I wish I could sing but I can’t say the thing he says.”

“There are people you don’t think I listen to but I do. Because you, as a musician, you’d be stupid not to pay attention to words around you, especially the young, there are so many Naira Marley songs I wish I sang.”

“But I can’t say the things he says, although they’re things I think about in my head, that’s why I love him.” he added.
