Wole Kukoyi Installed As Pioneer Rotary District Governor, Unveils Star Project
Wole Kukoyi has been installed as the Pioneer Rotary District 9111 Governor, unveiling a star project.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the CEO of Ace Medical Clinics, Ota and former chairman of Molusi Global Old students Association, Rotarian (Dr) Oluwole Kukoyi, has been installed as the first district governor of rotary district 9111.

The event took place on saturday, 6th of July, 2024, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja.
District 9111 is a new offshoot from the parent district 9110 which comprises of Rotary clubs in Lagos state and Ogun state.
In his speech, Dr. Kukoyi described the occassion as a historic milestone in the Rotary journey.
“Today, we make a historic milestone in the Rotary Journey, as the pioneer district governor of district 9111. I am humbled, I am excited to lead our district into a new era for service, growth and impact,” he said.
The physician further announced that the star project for the year will be building and equipping a sickle cell disease centre.
“The star project for our year will be the building and equipping of the sickle cell disease centre, and I am happy to announce that the Ogun State Government has donated a piece of land, and after that, the foundation laying of this project was done on Wednesday, 3rd of July, and that tells you that we are ready for action,” Dr. Kukoyi added.

The event was attended by the deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele, several traditional rulers including the Olota of Ota & the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, Past rotary district Governors, Current District Governors, fellow rotarians and Old students of Molusi College, Ijebu Igbo.
