A 33-year-old woman, Rukayat Abdul Raheem has been arrested and charged to court for allegedly throwing her son, Abdulganiyu, into the well.
The unfortunate incident that resulted in the death of the boy happened in Osogbo, Osun State.

Her counsel, Galadima Adeoye, told the court that police need to do proper investigation on the matter.
The Police prosecutor, Wale Fatoba, said the investigation had been done before she was brought to the court.
Magistrate Olusegun Ayilara ordered that the woman be kept in police custody till the 4th of December when the trial would begin.
