Adesoji Adejumo, a former associate of VJ Adams, accused of scamming ex-girlfriend
Eko Hot Blog reports that a shocking scam unfolded at Angle Villa, Lekki Phase 1, a Lekki restaurant, where one Helen fell victim to her ex-boyfriend, Adesoji Adejumo, once associated with VJ Adams.
Adejumo allegedly exploited Helen’s compassion, fabricating a story about his father’s health to lure her into meeting him for emotional support.
During their meal, Adejumo ordered extravagantly while Helen opted for more modest choices within her budget.
Unexpectedly, Adejumo requested Helen’s phone to arrange transportation and swiftly disappeared from the Lekki restaurant with both her iPhone 11 Pro Max and an unpaid ₦139,000 bill.
Helen’s attempts to contact Adejumo were futile as he ignored calls and eventually turned off her phone, leaving her stranded.
Feeling deceived and helpless without her phone, Helen bravely shared her story to caution others against falling prey to similar scams.
She emphasized the importance of verifying personal stories and exercising caution, especially in emotional situations.
Authorities have been alerted and are investigating the incident, urging the public to report any suspicious activities promptly.
The email address associated with Adejumo, thisisspicy1@gmail.com, is under scrutiny as part of the ongoing investigation.
