Woman Who Killed Her Husband Also Stabs Herself

A thirty-six – year old man, Bryan Indimuli has been confirmed dead after his wife, Joy Indeche stabbed him in their house at ikoli village in malava, Kakamega county in Kenya.

Father of the deceased, John Indimuli said that the incident occurred after his son complained that Joy tripped over a chair and the ugali (maize porridge) which she was carrying fell on the floor.

“My son suspected his wife had taken alcohol, hence her wobbly feet which led her to her tripping over and resulting in the fall of the ugali,” he said.

The report confirmed that the husband attempted to cane her, but she picked a knife and stabbed her husband in his stomach repeatedly, and immediately stabbed herself in the stomach, ripping out her intestines.

She was said to have been rushed by neighbours to a referral hospital at kakamega county where she is currently receiving treatment.

John admitted that his son’s marriage was filled with unending conflicts.

“One year ago, the two had gone separate ways before reuniting. My son had married Indeche when she had a daughter from a previous relationship. The two thereafter got a son together” he added.

A police officer in Busia county, Mzee Indimuli confirmed that they buried the deceased on Saturday night in accordance with the county government’s directive on burial during the present period of the covid-19 pandemic.
