Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has stated that women who wear makeup do not believe that God created them perfectly EKO HOT BLOG reports.
Pastor Adeboye speaking at the RCCG ministers’ conference on Saturday at Redemption City, Mowe, Ogun State, which was part of the church’s 72nd annual convention, Adeboye emphasised that God made humans perfectly and that wearing makeup suggests disbelief in God’s creation.
He said, “When you marry, you cut your coat according to your clothes. Some of you want to be like the people of the world. I can’t even imagine some of the things I see now. It wasn’t so in the beginning.
“People spend hundreds of thousands of naira on photo shoots. Then, on the wedding day, the bride adorns herself with all kinds of decorations.
Those who wear makeup are essentially saying they don’t believe God did a good job.
“When God created you, He did an excellent job—you are wonderfully and perfectly made, unique, and there is no one else like you. You are special.
“When you start painting and believe you can improve on what God has already done, you’re fooling yourself. You can never improve on what God has done.”
