Workers In KAGARKO Local Government Council In Kaduna State Are To Receive Their September Salaries Under The New Minimum Wage Package

The council chairman, Mr Nasara RABO disclosed this to newsmen in Kaduna.

The KAGARKO local council chairman explained that the implementation of the new minimum wage at the local level became necessary in view of the urgent need to consolidate on socioeconomic and political development of the state government.

Mr Nasara RABO pointed out that the payment of the new minimum wage is to commence next Monday for the month of September.

According to him KAGARKO local government council would be the first third tier of government to implement the new minimum wage in Kaduna state

.

Mr Nasara RABO added that the new salary package has been worked out in accordance with the template used by the state government,stressing that the measure is to ensure uniformity and guarantee excellence.

The KAGARKO local council chairman further appealed to the people of kenyi district in the area to live in peace with one another, irrespective of ethnic and religious differences.

Mr Nasara RABO described the ugly incident of yesterday,Thursday where attacks were carried out as unfortunate.

He further expressed his council resolved to support security agencies towards checking the menace.
