WTO DG Okonjo-Iweala Meets Ex-German Chancellor Merkel (PHOTOS)

WTO DG, Okonjo-Iweala, has met with Ex-German Chancellor Merkel.

Eko Hot Blog reports that Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, recently met with Angela Merkel, immediate past German Chancellor.

In a post on Okonjo-Iweala’s Twitter handle on Monday, she shared photos from her informal meeting with the former German leader.

The WTO top chief said the exchange also involved Katharina Stasch, German Ambassador to the United Nations (UN).

The Nigerian economist disclosed that the trio discussed the importance of a strengthened multilateralism.
