Always ahead of the game among Nigerian female singers especially relating to social media popularity, Yemi Alade has celebrated reaching seven million followers on Instagram.
The 30-year-old “Johhny” singer, who also describes herself as the King of Queens following an album she released bearing the title, celebrated attaining the landmark figure late Monday.
“Thank you all for blessing and supporting me ALL DAY – EVERYDAY ❤❤, we are #7MILLIONFOLLOWERS ????m,” she wrote.
Just a week ago, Yemi Alade announced the release of a remix of her hit single ‘Oh My Gosh’ with American rapper, Rick Ross. It is now a decade since she won the Peak Talent Hunt Show in 2009 which launched her to stardom.
The song, which is part of preparations for her next album reportedly titled “Woman of Steel” and slated for release later in 2019, has seen a good reception for the video of the song as well.
