Hours after reports started circulating on social media that his wife has been delivered of triplets, musician and entrepreneur, Yinka Ayefele, swiftly debunked the story yesterday.
Taking to Instagram, the Ekiti State indigene, who is in the United States at the time of the post, urged his fans and followers to ignore the rumours.
“Fake News, Fake Pictures. That picture was taken 7yrs ago during my younger brothers naming at music house in Ibadan. Thank you all for wishing me well and I claim it in Jesus name,” he wrote.
Before putting a lie to the story, reports indicated that the music star had welcomed a set of triplets in the United States.
Further making it known that there was no truth in the rumours was an email sent to Pulse by Ayefele’s manager, stating: “We left Nigeria for the United States on Monday. While Yinka Ayefele, his mum and younger brother, Laolu headed to Maryland to give their mum a better medical care. Yinka Ayefele’s wife, Temitope, is holding forth back in Nigeria.”
