Yomi Fabiyi a Yoruba actor currently trending has come out to defend his controversial movie titled “Oko Iyabo”.
Since the release of the movie, Yomi Fabiyi has faced lots of backlash from colleagues in the industry and fans. Most believe that the movie trivializes the alleged sexual abuse case between the comedienne Princess’s daughter and actor Baba Ijesha.
Yomi had also in the movie used the real names of the persons involved in the sexual assault saga.
However, Yomi Fabiyi has come out to deny claims that his new movie “Oko Iyabo” undermines the girl child and also trivializes the sexual abuse between the daughter of comedienne Princess and actor Baba Ijesha.
In the movie, Yomi Fabiyi made it appear like the minor involved in the rape case was having an affair with Baba Ijesha.
EkoHotBlog had earlier reported that the movie has been pulled down from Youtube where he posted it. This is following reactions and several reports from angry Nigerians.
