“You Can’t Shame Me For Being HIV Positive”-Gay Activist Bisi Alimi

  • Recall that Bisi Alimi became popular when he “came out” on television thereby making him the first Nigerian to make his gay status known.

 

Gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi has lashed out at those shaming him for having HIV.

The gay man told trolls and rumor mongers to look for another material to shame him with.

The activist maintained that he can’t be shamed for having HIV which he has lived with for 17 years. 

Bisi Alimi further disclosed that he made the decision of announcing to the world that he has HIV. 

Recall that Bisi Alimi became popular when he “came out” on television thereby making him the first Nigerian to make his gay status known.

He also discussed that he was HIV positive. However, since revealing his HIV status, Bisi has faced all sorts of bullying, insults and stigmatisation.
