EKO HOT BLOG reports that Seun Kuti, a popular Nigerian musician and youngest son of the Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has stated that anyone in support of former President Olusegun Obasanjo would end up in hell.

Kuti made this statement during an Instagram Live session where he lamented the exploitation of natural resources for personal gains by Nigerian leaders and the Europeans, with Obasanjo’s administration recording the worst cases.

According to Kuti, oil and other resources belonging to Nigeria were sold to the Europeans during Obasanjo’s regime. He argued that those in support of Obasanjo were not affected by the various atrocities meted out on Africans and were therefore oppressors who did not respect the continent.

Kuti further alleged that Obasanjo was so wicked and that any Nigerian who praised him for any reason would go to hell. He maintained that supporting Obasanjo showed that one was beyond salvation and had no respect for Africa.
