Bishop David Oyedepo Of Winners Chapel (Faith Tabernacle) has said that Lagos, Ogun and other States of the Federation yet to allow worship services in Churches and other worship centres no longer have any choice but to do so.
Speaking during a live broadcast on Saturday morning at the Covenant Hour of Prayer service of the Church in Otta, Ogun State, Oyedepo said almost twenty states have already approved the reopening of churches following the gradual relaxation of ban on movements and social gathering across the country.
“ They no longer have a choice since others have done so,” he stated.
Some states, including Borno, Gombe, Adamawa, Zamfara, Kano, Ebonyi and others have allowed the reopening of religious centres based on some agreed guidelines, though the federal government has warned against hurried re-opening and violation of the COVID-19 protocol.
He also noted that the reopening of Churches, Mosques and synagogues in the United States by President Donald Trump is commendable.
