EKO HOT BLOG reports that former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has opened up about his former teammate at Chelsea, Kevin De Bruyne, who now plays for Manchester City.

Speaking on the Belgian, Mikel Obi revealed he was always grumpy and moody during his time at Stamford Bridge. De Bruyne, who now plays for Manchester City, left Chelsea during Jose Mourinho’s tenure.

In an interview with Dubai Eye 103.8, Mikel spoke about various topics related to his time at Chelsea, including his former teammate De Bruyne. Mikel revealed that the Belgian was always a “stroppy guy” who kept to himself and was difficult to approach.

He added that De Bruyne’s attitude was often grumpy and moody, making it hard to communicate with him.

Despite this, Mikel acknowledged De Bruyne’s exceptional talent and performance on the pitch. He noted that watching the Belgian play now is a joy, and he has grown into a phenomenal player.

De Bruyne has been instrumental in Manchester City’s success in recent years, winning multiple Premier League titles and being a key player in their Champions League campaign.

John Obi Mikel spent more than a decade at Chelsea, helping the club win several trophies, including the Premier League, Champions League, and Europa League. The Nigerian midfielder was a fan favorite at Stamford Bridge and played an important role in the club’s success during his time there.
