You Should Apologise To Me, Bandits Can Kill You, Mbaka Tells Garba Shehu

Catholic Priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Fr Ejike Mbaka, has admonished the presidency to stop seeing those who criticise and call out the ineptitude of the president Muhammadu Buhari administration over the dismal and unsettling state of the nation as enemies of the government.
Mbaka gave the admonition while speaking on Sunday at the Adoration Ministry in Enugu.
Mbaka said even Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu, is within touching distance of tragedy and that he’s not in anyway impervious to the heinous activities of marauding bandits and other non-state actors who are terrorising the country.
Recall that Shehu had said Mbaka’s call for Buhari’s resignation over the troubling state of the nation, particularly the pervasive insecurity in the country, was because he didn’t get favour from the government of the day.
According to Shehu, Fr Mbaka’s newfound love for castigation of Buhari’s administration was spurred by his inability to use his position to advance his interests, noting that the cleric had brought three persons to get contracts from the government but was rebuffed.
Mbaka had since refuted the allegation noting that he had no ties with the three contractors and they were not fronting for him, he disclosed that he took them to the president because they claimed to have the power to address the nagging challenges of security.
Speaking further, Mbaka warned the presidency to stop attacking those who spoke truth to power and should instead focus on the message of the dissents.
He noted that even Garba Shehu could be killed by bandits if things get worse and the situation goes out of hand.
“Be careful in your choice of words and be wise. If anybody says the truth, the person is a terrorist. I do my charity without their support. I thank Ugwuanyi who has created an enabling environment here for me.

“With the support of the government of Enugu, God has given me the grace to do all my projects. If I can be doing this, the federal government should do more.
He further attacked President Buhari for travelling to the UK for medical check-up.
“How would a whole Nigeria not have a good hospital, that our president will be flown out of the country for medical treatment.
“They have shown they don’t have reward mechanism. Shehu should be apologising to me.”
