Christian Heidel has slammed Todd Boehly for sacking Thomas Tuchel
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Christian Heidel, the sporting directorr of German Bundesliga side, Mainz, has slammed Chelsea over their decision to sack Thomas Tuchel and appoint Graham Potter as new manager.
Heidel said that Chelsea owners, led by Todd Boehly ‘have no idea about football’.
Tuchel was sacked on Saturday following the Blues seemingly poor start to the new campaign that saw them fell to lowly-rated Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb in the opening Champions League group game.

Hiedel and Tuchel worked extensively together during their time with Mainz and the German has criticised the west London side for their decision.
He said the Blues will ‘bitterly regret’ sacking the 49-year-old.
“With Thomas it came out of the blue,” Hiedel told BILD.
‘‘Someone who has no idea about football probably thought that sixth place wasn’t good enough for him and said, ‘then let’s try another coach’.”
