Young Men Slump, Die During Military Exercise

Two young men were said to have slumped during a  marathon race at the ongoing recruitment exercise of the Ekiti State Nigerian Army.

The race is one of the exercises put in place to ascertain the physical fitness of those expected to be enlisted into the Nigerian Army.

It was gathered that one of the deceased had slumped less than five minutes to the race while the other had almost completed it before he fell at the main entrance of the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium venue of the exercise.

According to sources, the deceased were rushed to the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti where they both gave up the ghost.
