Nyesom Wike claimed he was poisoned in 2018.
-
Atiku’s aide says his health problems are due to alcohol abuse.
-
Wike has not responded to the allegations.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Phrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant on Public Communication to Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 PDP presidential candidate, has disputed the claim by Nyesom Wike, the immediate past Rivers State Governor, that he was poisoned at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat in 2018.
Shaibu said that Wike’s claim is “not believable” and that the former governor’s health problems are more likely due to his excessive alcohol consumption.
