EDITOR’S PICK:
In this era, it is now quite simple to track someone’s smart phone activities thanks to the emergence of monitoring software.
However, even if these surveillance technologies are intended for parental control or employee monitoring, it is possible that they are utilized against you. The person may be able to monitor your emails, calls, text messages, account passwords, and much more, depending on the tool utilized.
1. Faster draining of battery
Spy software will consume battery and device resources while running in the background. So, this will result in more battery consumption and your device battery will drain faster.
2. Strange noise while calling
If you hear strange background noises while calling, then it is possible that some are listening in on your calls with a monitoring tool. It is one of the signs your phone is tracked.
3. Overheating of the device
An app that constantly updates data in the cloud will consume a large number of resources continuously, which would increase the overheating of the device.
4. Increased data usage
Since the spy app will need to send the device report to the tracker on the other end, it will consume a large amount of data.
Of course, you cannot conclude with just one sign alone. On the other hand, if these signs occur simulationeously, it’s best you take drastic action.

5. Abnormal permission requests from apps
Certain apps will ask for permissions that they don’t need. Why is a notepad asking for camera usage permission? Why is a cooking app asking for voice-recording permission? When this happens, be careful.
Things you could do when you notice these signs
First, you can check your phone for spying apps, check applications that are consistently running in your phone background, or use up your data usage. And of course, you can delete those apps if you can, or you can manually reset the phone.
