With this latest development, YouTube joins a growing list of social media platforms that have shut down or curbed the outgoing president’s online presence due to concerns of potential incitement of violence.
According to Forbes, the Google-owned platform said that it had taken down the video after “careful review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence.”
The statement added that comments for all videos uploaded on the president’s channel have also been disabled indefinitely due to safety concerns.
