‘You’ve Been Instrumental To The Development Of Lagos’ — Abiru Celebrates Tola Kasali On Birthday

  • Tola Kasali is a three-time commissioner in Lagos State.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the lawmaker representing Lagos East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Adetokunbo Abiru and his wife, Mrs Feyisola Abiru, have congratulated influential Lagos politician and former commissioner, Dr. Tola Kasali, on his birthday.

The senator and his wife celebrated Kasali in a birthday message released on Wednesday.

They described the three-time commissioner in Lagos as an accomplished medical practitioner and politician.

Abiru also praised the celebrant for helping him and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last general elections.

“On behalf of the good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, I congratulate our leader, and frontline political figure in Lagos State, Dr. Tola Kasali on his birthday,” the message reads.

“Dr., we celebrate your numerous achievements as an accomplished medical practitioner cum politician.

“The outstanding contributions you made in the development of our dear State when you served as the Executive Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government and later as two term commissioner in Lagos State will never be forgotten.

“Sir, I also acknowledge and appreciate you for the unwavering support you and other leaders of our party gave me and other candidates of our dear party at the last general elections. I am most grateful.

“As you mark this special day, I pray that Almighty God continues to strengthen and give you sound health. Congratulations!”

Dr. Kasali was the Commissioner for Rural Development in Lagos State from 2003 to 2006, where he worked very hard to improve significantly the rural infrastructures in the State.

He later became the Commissioner for Health in 2006 before resigning his appointment to contest for the state governorship election.
