Zamfara: Security Expert Advises Gov Lawal Against Negotiating With Bandits
Eko Hot Blog reports that Alhaji Aminu Danbuba, a security expert, has cautioned Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State against entering into any peace negotiations with bandits.
According to him, there are some policies of previous administrations that need to be prioritised in order to ensure the well-being of the state and the security of its people.

He pointed out that former Governor Matawalle had entered into a peace accord with them, resulting in the wastage of billions of Naira belonging to the state, but with no positive or beneficial results from the negotiations.
During an interview with DAILY POST in Gusau, the capital city of Zamfara State, Danbuba emphasized that the current situation in the state is alarmingly unsafe, with widespread insecurity as bandits persistently wreak havoc on a daily basis.
