Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, has strongly rejected claims by Russia that Ukraine launched a drone attack on one of President Vladimir Putin’s residences in the Novgorod region.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, alleged that Kyiv deployed 91 long-range drones in an overnight operation, a claim Zelensky dismissed as fabricated and politically motivated.

Zelensky described the allegation as another attempt by Moscow to justify continued aggression against Ukraine, warning the international community against allowing such narratives to derail ongoing peace efforts.
He stressed that Russia has a history of targeting civilian and government infrastructure in Ukraine, insisting that Kyiv remains committed to diplomatic solutions.

Lavrov, in a statement shared on Telegram, claimed Russian air defence systems intercepted all the drones, adding that there were no casualties or damage.
Despite the accusation, Russia said it would continue talks with the United States, even as it hinted at a possible review of its negotiating stance.
The development followed high-level discussions between the United States and Ukraine in Florida, where Presidents Donald Trump and Zelensky reportedly made progress on a revised peace framework.
