Zubby Michael is the Biggest Nollywood Star – Gideon Okeke
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Okeke wrote on his Instagram story, “Zubby Michael is the biggest Nollywood star. But like Elizabeth, I know what Mary is carrying. God’s expression resounds in different decibels.”
He added, “It takes humility to submit in praise, to God. Keep riding, my broda. I see you.”
This comes months after a heated debate between Zubby Michael and Timini Egbuson on the first episode of the Prime Video reality show ‘Ebuka Turns Up Africa’.

Egbuson argued that he was the bigger actor, citing the quality of his films, box office success, and industry recognition. However, Michael countered, claiming he was wealthier and more successful.
In related news, Nigerian rapper Reminisce has expressed concern that money has become the primary factor in determining a hit song, rather than the quality of the music itself.

During an appearance on the I Said What I Said podcast, Reminisce stated, “The game has now changed to another phase, where you need to spend money to get hits. Money now produces hits, not music anymore.
Whatever song you see popping, go ask what the marketing budget was. That’s what determines how big a song is. It’s no longer just music anymore.”
