Facebook CEO Zuckerberg Becomes Youngest Person Worth $100 Billion

• Zuckerberg’s net worth stands at US$104  billion at 36 years of age

• Zuckerberg plans to help get 50 million people globally get COVID-19 vaccines.

Mark Zuckerberg has become the youngest individual on planet earth to ever be worth at least US$100 billion.

The American is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Facebook, the world’s biggest social media company with more than 2.5 billion monthly users. Facebook are also the owners of WhatsApp and Instagram which are equally one of the most used social media apps in the world.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that Zuckerberg’s current valuation stands at US$104 billion which pits behind Elon Musk (US$182 billion), Jeff Bezos (US$181 billion), Bill Gates (US$139 billion) and Bernard Arnault (US$124 billion)

Zuckerberg recently said Facebook plans to support people getting vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus which has infected more than 120 million people in the world including 29 million persons in the United States which is the highest of any country.

Zuckerberg highlighted three ways this will be achieved.

“We’re launching a global campaign to help bring 50 million people a step closer to getting Covid-19 vaccines,” he said.

“First, we’re launching a tool that shows you when and where you can get vaccinated and gives you a link to make an appointment. This will be in the Covid Information Center, which we’ll show people right in their News Feed. We’ve already seen people use Facebook to find vaccination appointments, so this should enable millions of more people to do the same.

“Second, we’re bringing the Covid Information Center to Instagram, and we’ll show it to people prominently there too.

“Third, we’re working with health authorities and governments to expand their WhatsApp chatbots to help people register for vaccines. More than 3 billion messages related to Covid have already been sent by governments, non-profits, and international organizations to citizens through official WhatsApp chatbots, so this update will help with the vaccination effort as well.”
