13-Year-Old Commits Suicide In Delta (See Reason)

Tragedy struck in Warri local government area of Delta state after a 13-year-old girl reportedly committed suicide.

It’s learnt that the teenager took her life after she was beaten for having a sexual affair with a man presumed to be her lover.

Following the beating by her elder sister, she took an insecticide known as angle 90and died behind a filling station, a source revealed.

“The girl’s elder sister beat her up for having a lover at her age, and she went inside and drank Angle 90, an insecticide,” the source said.

However, Police spokesman, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya said, “Maybe the matter was not reported to the police.”
