17 Children Killed, Dozen Injured In Kenya School Fire

At least 17 students have died following a fire at Hillside Endarasha Primary School in Nyeri County, central Kenya, on Thursday night, according to police.

The number of casualties may increase, as more than a dozen others have been hospitalized with severe burns.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation, with a team of investigators dispatched to the scene, police spokesperson Resila Onyango reported.
