Arsenal wing-back Bukayo Saka continued his rise at the Emirates Stadium with two assists as Arsenal beat Benfica 3-2 in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Nigerian-descent showed he has what it takes to become a world-class winger in the game as his decision-making was top notch and combined well with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Saka won all his aerial duels against Benfica, made 57 touches, had a 92 percent passing accuracy, and was the architect of Aubameyang’s goals.
The assists mean Saka has now scored 10 goals and provided 18 assists for the Gunners in the last 18 months. (Since the start of the 2019/2020 campaign)
No player has also provided more assists in the Europa League than the 19-year-old since last season as he has provided eight.
Saka provided five assists as Arsenal crashed out in the Europa League Round of 32 last season. This season, he has created three assists in five Europa League games.
